A finishing touch, perfectly applied
The waxing or oiling station applies a protective coat to the final product — enhancing presentation, preventing the product from sticking, and helping retain moisture inside the packed product. In most extrusion production lines it's positioned just before the main cooling and conditioning tunnel.
Because of its minimal footprint, the waxing unit can easily be by-passed for products that don't require waxing — flexibility without redesigning the line. The station itself is jacketed for cooling and heating, with circulating temperature-controlled water keeping the wax or oil at its optimal working temperature.
The waxing unit can be fitted with various grooved guiding rollers, so every product type gets the optimal wax application — regardless of shape, size, or surface.
